Cookie Policy
Effective May 27, 2026 · Last updated May 27, 2026 · Version 2026-05-27.1
We use the fewest cookies possible. Today that means one: remembering your cookie-preferences choice so we don't show the banner every visit. We do not currently run analytics, advertising, or behavioral-tracking cookies.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They can remember preferences (like that you've already seen the cookie banner) or — if used for tracking — record your behavior across pages and visits.
2. Categories of cookies and our current use
Strictly necessary (always on)
Required for the site to function. You cannot turn these off without breaking the site.
gc_consent— stores your cookie banner choice and the policy version you accepted. Set only after you interact with the banner. Lifetime: 12 months. First-party.
Functional (off by default)
Would remember preferences like a chosen language or saved form draft. None currently in use.
Analytics (off by default)
Would help us understand how visitors find and use the site. None currently in use. If we add an analytics provider (for example, a privacy-respecting tool like Plausible or Fathom, or Google Analytics 4), it will be listed here and will not load until you opt in.
Advertising / cross-context behavioral (off by default)
Used to build advertising profiles across websites. None currently in use, and we have no plans to add any. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law.
3. Third-party content embedded on this site
The following third parties may set cookies if you interact with their content:
- Google Fonts — serves the Inter and Manrope fonts. Google may log IP addresses when serving fonts. We use the standard, privacy-friendly Google Fonts endpoint and do not pass any user data.
- Unsplash — serves stock images on placeholder galleries. Unsplash may log image requests. No personal data is shared with them by us.
4. Changing your preferences
You can update or withdraw your cookie consent any time by clicking "Cookie Preferences" in the site footer, or by clearing the gc_consent cookie in your browser (which will cause the banner to reappear on next visit).
5. Browser controls
All major browsers let you block or delete cookies. Doing so may affect your experience on other sites but will not break this site.
6. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Since we currently do neither, the signal has no effect on data collection today — but it is honored and will continue to be if our practices ever change.
7. Updates
If we add a new cookie or tracker, we will update this page before the new cookie loads and re-prompt the consent banner.
8. Contact
Questions about cookies: [EMAIL] or [PHONE].
